About our alpaca ranch
Our farm is located in Dębowiec near Prudnik in the buffer zone of the Opawskie Mountains Landscape Park. Here you will experience peace and quiet surrounded by the forest and our animals.
It works when breedingLlamerada Foundation, in which volunteers conduct alpacotherapy and art therapy classes.
Where did the idea for alpacas come from?
It all started with a passion for gardens and the search for the best ... manure. And here came the first thought ... maybe some animals - goats, horses ...
Alpacas were a hit and love at first sight. In 2017, the first six alpacas came from Chile - one boy and five girls. Over time, the herd grew larger. We currently have 26 pieces and we are waiting for the next birth.
Where does the name Ajmaraya come from?
The Ajmarayas are a South American people who speak a language called Aymara. At the beginning of our era, he lived in Bolivia and Peru. The Aymars were a highly developed civilization. To this day, despite many attempts to remove them from these areas, they live in communities dealing with fishing, agriculture, crafts and, above all, breeding alpacas and llamas.
To this day, this people believes in good and evil spirits. The good spirits include the heavenly spirit Ap'alani and Ipoqapaqa, the mountain spirit they consider to be the owner of all llamas, alpacas and vicuas.
The Aymara language has been untouched for millennia, as the native Indians claim it comes from the gods and should be worshiped and protected.
It is considered the most perfect language in the world.
